In an attempt to bring down the rising coronavirus cases, Germany entered a partial lockdown on Wednesday as the number of recorded deaths from COVID-19 jumped by 952, the highest daily increase yet.According to the Robert Koch Institute, a total of 952 people died in the previous 24 hours. The previous record daily death toll was 598 last Friday.
