Revenues of US e-commerce behemoth Amazon surged 27.2% to $113.1 billion in the second quarter of 2021, which is $400 million higher than the combined gross domestic product (GDP) of eight vulnerable Arab economies — Bahrain, Libya, Yemen, Lebanon, Mauritania, Somalia, Djibouti, and Comoros.
