The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed a lawsuit Monday to block the $8.5 billion acquisition of Capri Holdings by luxury fashion holding firm Tapestry to thwart the move to combine iconic brands such as Coach and Kate Spade with Michael Kors.
