Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico clashed with Elon Musk on X and accused the world’s richest person of trying to buy himself a U.S. senator, responding to a series of attacks from Musk, who has emerged as the biggest financial backer of outside groups backing Talarico’s Republican opponent, Ken Paxton, ahead of next month’s midterm elections.
