Over one million people have fled Ukraine into neighboring countries in seven days, according to the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) Thursday. The number of refugees in Europe is rising by the “minute”, said the UNHCR a day earlier, amid escalating violence in Ukraine under Russia’s invasion.
