<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#000000">US retail sales fell 0.8% in January from December 2023, its biggest decline in nearly a year, dragged down by gasoline stations and automobile dealerships. On a year-over-year basis, sales rose 0.6%, the Commerce Department’s Census Bureau reported.</span></p>
