Following its bankruptcy protection announcement in July due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and a debt burden of nearly $1 billion, NPC International, the largest franchisee of Pizza Hut in the US, plans to close up to 300 Pizza Hut locations as part of its re-organization.
