Billionaire industrialist and investor Heinz Hermann Thiele, one of the richest men in Germany and in the world, has passed away at the age of 79. A self-made billionaire, Thiele was the 110th richest person in the world at the time of his death with a fortune of $17.9 billion, according to the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List.
