Cryptocurrency Dogecoin surged more than 50% on Thursday after Tesla chief and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk tweeted in support of it. According to blockchain and cryptocurrency website Coindesk, Dogecoin was trading at $0.051137 and had registered a 58.05% rise in the last 24 hours.
