Indian information technology firm Wipro, controlled by billionaire Azim Premji will acquire London-based management and technology consultancy Capco for $1.45 billion in cash, its biggest acquisition so far, the two companies announced. The deal, announced late on Thursday, will allow Wipro to boost its financial services business and add scale to its UK and Europe operations.
