Faisal Mohammed AlShimmari is an Emirati leader with a career spanning almost three decades. As Head of ESG & Corporate Strategy at Mashreq, he steers the bank towards a sustainable future marked by adherence to the highest standards of environmental, social, and governance principles. Faisal previously worked in the government sector, spearheading digitalization, AI, and public safety and security initiatives. Prior to his current role, Faisal served as Senior Vice President - Head of Risk Strategy and Governance at Mashreq. He holds two master's degrees, four graduate diplomas, and a diploma from the Emergency Planning College, U.K.
